Dolf de Roos was born in
New Zealand, and went on to attend school in a variety of
countries. Today, speaking six languages and holding
business interests in a number of regions, he considers
himself a citizen of the world. Over the years, as his
successes with property became apparent, Dolf was urged to
share the "why" and "how" of his real estate investment
strategies. He has run public seminars throughout Australia,
New Zealand, Asia, North America, and Europe, trained real
estate agents, written and published eight best-selling
property books including the New York Times Best Seller
Real Estate Riches, as well as introduced
software to both analyze and manage investment property.
Consequently, his views on property are esteemed, and he is
often asked to address investors' conferences, appear on
radio shows, and take part in television debates.
In the late 1990s Dolf launched a public company, "Property Ventures
Limited" of which he is the chairman. Property Ventures is
now gaining momentum as an innovative property investment
company, with holdings ranging from high-rise apartment
buildings to high-end vineyards. Property Ventures is
committed to increasing the wealth of its shareholders
through the acquisition, development, and sale of real
estate. Current projects are focused in New Zealand with
several innovative property products having been developed
over the past two years.
PVL plans to build shareholder wealth by concentrating on
property development and investment through five major
operating streams: New Urbanism which is commercial and
residential property development in “green-field new
urbanist projects”, Living Space which is expanding the
brand name “Livingspace” with a goal of 700-1000 beds within
5 years. They will identify and work alongside joint
venture partners to develop other low cost but elite
accommodation facilities. Development –Lifestyle Focus,
which will identify and purchase property that, can be
developed into a profitable and timely manner with a focus
on underdeveloped property where PVL can see opportunities
to increase value. Real Estate Investment Properties, which
identify and retain key developed properties as commercial
investments and ensure strong cash flow for the group and
Wholesale Property Sales which sell commercial and
residential property that has been acquired and developed by
the company to pre-qualified investors. Property Ventures
Limited is an unlisted public company and currently has over
400 shareholders from around the world.
