Jerry Buchanan
has served as a great inspiration to writers all over the
world. When he started his climb to the top, there was very
little information available for the modern day info
marketer.
It all
started years ago when Jerry Buchanan was a frustrated
farmer. He couldn’t get the moles and gophers to stop
attacking his gardens. The problem had become so great that
he was financially hurting. Taking a good look around, he
noticed that there were several farmers that didn’t seem to
be having any problems. In a desperate attempt to salvage
what was left, Jerry Buchanan went from door to door asking
what their approach was. After collecting all the tips from
the various farmers he came to the conclusion that these
ideas were indeed useful.
This
provoked him to write a 4 page report on how to get the
moles and gophers to stop invading your territory. To
advertise, he placed an ad in a popular farmer’s magazine.
There was not one person interested in the report until a
few weeks later. All of a sudden, tons of farmers were
calling to get a hold of this garden saving material.
Everyone wanted the secrets to help save their gardens,
which in turn would bring their income back to a comfortable
standing. In the end, Jerry Buchanan wound up selling
literally thousands of these simple 4 page reports.
With this
success encouraging him to take information marketing a step
further, he began writing training guides to marketing.
Releasing a book called, “Writer’s Utopia”, proved to be the
most successful of all Jerry Buchanan books. This book has
helped countless people start a successful information
marketing business. The reviews are also quite magnificent!
Sadly, Jerry Buchanan passed away a few years ago. One
thing is for sure, he will definitely influence those that
have read his material forever. One of the best things
about his writings is that they are classics. No matter
what direction the information marketing industry takes they
will still serve as great guides!
