Future Lines is an online blog that was established for the purpose of cataloging various comedic “one liners” that will, potentially, be about a topic or subject matter that someone while use at some point in the future. Hence, the blog, created by some called feedscott, is part of a large network of loosely related blogs and online posting platforms were different issues and subjects are discussed in an online community. Future Lines is one of many outlets created by the feedscott founder.

People are encouraged to submit their future one-liners via email or simply post it as a comment in one of the blog’s existing posts. No limits are set on how many posts or submissions one can send and those participating are given permission to create a permanent link back to their own websites or online blogs. The blog’s guidelines are extremely loose but feedscott does expect those submitting another person’s one-line give them credit as well as the means to link to their website or blog if applicable.

The underlying concept behind Future Lines is the sharing of information via an online community. Like so much of the world-wide web, this is a venue for personal expressions and creativity. Future Lines is just a tiny example of what has become a dominant landscape of highly specialized or niche market content.
